It was the first true summer weekend of the year when Alaska came to visit from Berlin. We spent an afternoon in Jenisch Park, and on Saturday we took the train to Travemünde to enjoy the beach and the Baltic Sea. We took these pictures with the greatest ease – while chatting, daydreaming, and letting our thoughts wander. There was Marguerite Duras' »La vie tranquille« beside us, grass and sand underneath, a salty sea breeze hung in the air; and the sun blazed down from above. You feel that in the pictures I think. They are a beautiful memento of these days.
