»Liquify« is a poetic meditation on the timeless attraction of female beauty in all its shapes. It was shot on super 8 film stock with effects produced physically.
The title refers to the Photoshop tool commonly used to digitally manipulate the body appearance in order to conform with what some people consider to be a beauty standard. But is it not up to everyone of us to find out what kind of beauty attracts us most? And has not every woman the right to feel beautiful?
The film ends with a remarkable quote by painter Francis Bacon (1561-1626) who had his very own opinion on beauty.
The film features actress Heidrun Fiedler.
